Reading the Riordanverse (1)
Disclaimer: I do not own these books.
Hello People. This is a pretty popular and diverse topic when it comes to the fandom, and I though I'd give you my piece on it. And my nxt post will be after a week as I'm going to camp.
Part 1 is how I read the Riordanverse. Next Post for how you should read it.
Part 1:(the bulleted words are the books in order of reading) Before I read PJO, I disliked Percy Jackson. It used to give me the image of Peter Parker, so I though it was teenager nonsense(sorry, Spiderman). But when I was 10, my mom got me the Last Olympian.
- The Last Olympian
YEP. Having read absolutely none of the books, my mom went random and got me the last book. I had no intention of reading it, but I was hella bored and had nothing else to read, so I opened it and read the first few pages. As you know, in the first chappie, Percy and Rachel are sitting in a car at the beach before Beckendorf comes to take Percy on a mission. So I read it and was like, this is a romantic book, and so I dropped it then and there. But then I was sooooo bored I started again. This time I finished the whole thing and of course, my heart was sold. I got spoilers, but I'm the kind of person who will read books again and again but still feel thrilled or sad every single time, so I didn't mind.
Then I read the remaining in this order.
- The Battle of the Labyrinth
- The Titan's Curse
- The Lightning Thief
- The Sea of Monsters
- The Lost Hero
- The Son of Neptune
- The Mark of Athena
- The House of Hades
- The Blood of Olympus
- The Hidden Oracle
- Camp Half-Blood Confidential
- Percy Jackson's Greek Gods
- Percy Jackson's Greek Heroes
- The Dark Prophecy
- The Burning Maze
- The Tyrant's Tomb
- The Tower of Nero
- Demigods and Magicians
- The Red Pyramid
- The Serpent's Shadow
- The Throne of Fire
- The Sword of Summer
- The Hammer of Thor
- The Ship of the Dead
- Nine from the Nine Worlds
- Brooklyn House: Magician's Manual
- The Sun and the Star
- The Chalice of the Gods
